I used this guitar early in my career when I worked as a music therapist. I got tired of carrying it around in that hard case so I bought a cheap yamaha classical guitar. It hasn't been used since 1987/1988. My husband is a guitar lover so he doesn't want to sell it, but we need the cash. I wish I could convince him to sell his Les Paul, too!

Bought a nice one a couple of years ago for $400 but another OFC'er wanted it. Worth a lot more but most potential buyers have never played one. A near-new sold in a guitar store here for $750 but the buyer had the opportunity to play it. Damage to the top, even minor, can affect the price. Whether here or on eBay, need to be specific as to what problems there are (or aren't). Also, whether OHSC and what condition the case is.

However, if the seller knows how to properly describe the guitar and posts good photos, this Anniversary model should fetch at least $450. Jane, I think your husband is right. Keep it.

Ebay had a couple in good condition that went for under $400. I would think that would be a reasonable expectation if you decide to sell it and that may help make up your mind to keep it. It seems like there were a ton of them made.
