Weren't you looking for a 12-string neck and bridge for a deacon? Buy this and sell me the body! :p :p :p

The high bidder on is has been giving MWoody a run for his money, buying up lots of O parts.

Hmmmmm...

So, the question is, will a Deacon 12-string neck mount on a Preacher Deluxe body?

And while your'e at it, any reason a 6-string neck wouldn't fit on this body?

It will mount just fine (I've done it), but you'll have to set the bridge correctly to intonate it properly. Dave

The 12 string necks don't just grow on trees anymore!

This is the perfect grab for someone anticpating a set of New electronics.

You can adjust the bridge to make the 1/2" difference in Preacher/Deacon necks.

Andrew, you need a Preacher Deluxe 12 string neck. I want the Deacon 12 string neck and could then pass along my PD 12 string neck to you.....

This is fun! Paul, talk to dvd - he's looking at the body. We were talking about splitting this deal and parting it with each other - you could do the same thing!

BTW - just so you don't think I'm hoarding... I cut a deal with the guy who was selling the other Deacon and just got the electronics and pickup... he relisted the actual guitar.

So are you mlobosco? Wish I had known all you wanted was the electronics, we could have made an arrangement for that deacon.

Sounds like everybody's duking it out over the neck. I'm not interested in the neck or the bridge, but I'd love to get my hands on this body. Whoever wins this or is thinking about trying for it, PM me and we'll make a deal.

The reason I like this one so much is that its whole... unblemished... it would be a shame to piece it out.

I don't think that other one is going to go for more than I offered in the first place...

I hope this one doesn't go too much higher, but I have a feeling that it will.

I'll keep in touch as things progress... I hate battling with other board members over items... there's been lots of stuff for sale lately.

Likewise, and now that I know your intentions, I'm out. There will be others and I'm patient. Thanks
