Did these guitars had some variations over the years? This one is # 21430 so around 2005... Thanks for your inputs... Someone mentioned colors? AFAIK, the “white” ones were 6-strings and the charcoal/black ones were 12-strings. (I’ve never seen an ME II 12-string in any other color than the one pictured in your photo, but that doesn’t necessarily mean that they weren’t made in any other colors.) If I calculated the exchange rate properly, that one would be about U.S. $2,300. Imo, that would be a fair price for one in excellent shape, but you could probably find a better price if you are patient and keep an eye out for a lower-priced one. They’re not particularly rare, (again AFAIK.) I guess what you’re willing to pay might depend on how valuable you consider the autograph. (The labels inside the bowl were all individually autographed by Melissa Etheridge.)

How do you avoid the sort of glazed aspect of the SMT, what's the trick??? It's like the color is always hidden underneath apart from a certain angle... I sort of keep an eye on Adamas prices in GB, I haven't seen yet an ME 12 strings fetch or sell over £1500.00 over here... Hence my comment!!! Patrick Edited by frenchowl 2020-03-01 5:14 AM

Charcoal-Gray was the latest issue 1598 ME-II-12 series, with OP-Pro I throught. As per white - Mothership created at least two Pearl-white ME-II-12 (actually looks like 12-string version of W597-MEII) Best, Edited by MatureWolf 2020-03-03 12:46 PM
