I decided to just have a good professional set up done on it and see what happens. The problem seems to have disappeared and the action is sweeter than ever! I really need to play it for an extended period of time to be sure (which I WILL be doing tonight), but it seems to be in great shape right now. I really missed this guitar on gigs. Some songs just don't sound right on the 6 string anymore.

THAT'll teach 'em! Of course, it'd be more work for Rick, as all I'd have to do is play the same three chords over and over for an hour & a half . . . Hell! that's all that I do all night ANYway!!! :D

"Delta" is a bit of a dirge, and (unfortunately) gets a little "lost" on the usual "bar" crowd. We DO occasionally play "Stairway" tho, when somebody's really adamant . . . only we play the chords to "Stairway" and sing the lyrics to "Gilligan's Island". Really ticks 'em off! It's all part of the world-class "TwoManGroup Customer Service Initiative" :p

I'll buy him a bottle of cheap piss water light beer and a pack of smokes. That'll keep him busy. :D It's funny how some songs that you think will NEVER go over in a bar, end up going over great. I remember the first time that I played "taxi" at a gig. I just threw it in because it was a mellow crowd and I figured that no one would notice. It turned out to be the best song of the night. In fact a couple of people came up to me to compliment me. You know how it is. Some big, drunk dude comes stumbling toward your very expensive guitars and PA system to say "oh man, that was great, dude". Of course they ALWAYS get close enough so that you can enjoy their stale booze and cigarette breath.
