Joined: July 2008 Posts: 37 Location: south san francisco | Merry Christmas!! I have an Ovation solid body (Deacon). I'm looking to get an Ovation acoustic in the coming year. Any suggestions on a good choice of similar value? I'm not a collector or a professional, but I want a good quality (USA made) replacement for the solid body. I like the feel and action of the Deacon, so something with a cutaway and similar neck would be nice. I would rarely plug in, but would like an onboard tuner to make non standard tuning easier. It will be my only guitar, so I want to make it a good one.

I'm holding a 2178 and have a 1537 up for sale. I also have a gorgeous LX'ish Redwood but unless you like to write big checks it isn't for sale, but it does fit your login name!
