Did you get something via UPS lately?

Does it suck?

I haven't been in to work this week since Tuesday. I get cortisone shots in both wrists at the base of the thumb every three months. Just had them done Wednesday morning so I took the rest of the week off. I'll probably go in on Monday. I'll let you know then.

Sorry man, sounds like terminal Nintendo injuries. And I thought I was so smart by shipping to your work address so you would get it sooner!

My Bad.

Sometime we have to talk about Motorola Trunking systems. Maybe use the OFC Chat room since it is work related

Arthritis.

Mostly I just fix the mobiles & bases. The field techs are the ones that mess with the backbone.

Finally went in to work today. Pickguard looks real good, but the plastic bag that you shipped it in bonded to the finish a little bit. I just tested a small area and it looks like it will buff out. Now all I have to do is figure out which guitar to put it on.

Doh!

Instead of a buff and burn try a 400 grit scuff and a spoof can lacquer respray.

I was thinking the grey burst Viper III with the crack. It was either Grey burst or black with some kind of fade.

Deft Gloss is what was used. Any lacquer will bond.

If it totally sucks send it back with a request for something else.

What I tryed was swirl remover on my finger tip. So I don't think it'll be a problem.

I've also got a honey colored Viper III that I was thinking of using it on. I'll probably lay the pickguard on each one, take a photo and then decide which one to put it on.

With that pickguard, definitely #1.

Numero uno.

Is it really that bad around the lower bout or is the reflection doing it? If so let me try again or throw some more lacquer on there.

Flash can bring out some odd tones and sheens too.

Reflections from the overhead lights. You can see one of the affected areas just above the Ovation logo.

Good!

Number two kind of grows on you. It's like picking out socks that match.

Or purses.
