Joined: April 2007 Posts: 41 | Hey guys, I was wondering if I should buy an Ovation Elite 1778T on ebay for $800 with $30 shipping. It comes from a eshop that has some very nice comments. I was wondering if I should buy it? Is it a good deal? The reason i'm not buying it from places like guitarcenter.com is because they have it listed as $850, but also have some insane tax that bumps it up to about $900. But still, I'm wondering, is it a good deal for $830, or should I be waiting more patiently for a better deal to pop up? j

However, we try not to be the Price Police around here. You need to do some shopping and find your own best deal. But concider this.... it might be worth the extra $50 if they offer a 30 day, no questions asked, return policy. Because this is your first post and I don't want to come off as being cold about it...I will say that I have seen the EliteT on the internet at lower prices. Now you just got to go find them. And... I would not hurt to include Al in your list of shopping spots. You might find the best deal there... or... you might not.

It was the black which I liked not the "Lusty Red" I can't remember the price. I would agree with the other members. Shop around a little and contact Al.

Just a quick question, I already looked it up on the ovation site, but i just want to make sure. Are OP30's and OP40's silver and OPPro's black? Or does it vary? how do you tell if the 1778t has OP Pro (Other than through site or seller descriptions)?
