DUMBASS STORY: Back in about-well never mind when, but I was buying my 1st electric, a gorgeous Hondo II Les Paul copy, wine red with balls to spare (wish I still had it), and a Mosrite was briefly offered to me for $200 (the hondo was $125), and I considered it but let it go. Noone there thought much of it. I still feel a tinge of remorse. Hey, I was young and stupid-what?

Joined: December 2006 Posts: 6994 Location: Jet City | The Mosrite cost me a Gibson Explorer. Long story short, I had loaned the Explorer, it was busted in half while in his care, so he gave me the Mosrite. At the time I was still angry, but not so much anymore. That was 20 years ago. It's been sitting in this same condition since. It's time to get it working again, and I'm pretty sure Bob's the guy for the job. Al, I'd love to hear the stories. I've heard a few, and Bob also said Semie's brother was going to be brought in to help with the restoration and possibly even Bill Gruggett. This is one of the fist doubleneck solidbodies he made. ANd there's a bunch of interesting facts about this one but I'd probably bore the group so I'll stop. Al, you comin out for the 4th of July?
