This is the Folklore. It has a very wide nut at 1 7/8" leading up to a slotted headstock. I loved the rosette, but my fav on this guitar was it's luscious looking spruce top. The nut wa a bit too wide for my tastes though. I still intend to buy one of the last models (1 3/4" nut) to come out of New Hartford.... Some day.

The original Folklores sound nice. Big voice and nice wide fingerboard. 1 7/8" Price depends on condition and how much you like it.

I have a '79 Folklore that I found in a pawn shop about 3 years ago for $300. It's in good shape, the case however, is fairly beat up but still functional. It's a very decent sounding guitar, maybe a little more bottom end than other Ovations I've played... probably because it's a 12-fretter. The neck is huge - I like it!
