What would you guys recommend for a guitar amp for the Ultra GS that I had bought last week? |

Location: Boise, Idaho | It's going to depend on what you want to use it for. Will it be just a practice amp for you to listen to, or will you be playing out? What sort of music do you play? The type of music may dictate whether you want effects or just the basic clean/dirty channels. |

Sometimes playing out(we get invited) and sometimes practice jam with the boys (they also play well).
Thanks in advance |

what do you think of the Peavey Backstage Amp for $50. or the Crate Guitar head amp GX 1200 for $100?
Are they all practice amps?
how about the marshall mini stack electric guitar amp? |

| I have a couple of Roland mini-stacks for sale, model gc405 w/gc405x cabs... they are practice amps/stacks w/switchable lead/overdrive and tube emulation and are rated at 25w for top head/combo, and at 35w with the extension cabs connected, 8x5" drivers per stack. and they have a real effects loop and direct outs.. you can even cascade them, or just use the input in the loop for clean power..bypassing/ignoring the preamp circuit, include G. Lynch speaker cables..... $89 plus shipping..per stack... but check your local sources first, you might find a better deal.

Location: Copenhagen Denmark | A ROLAND mini -stack is a bargain , certainly for that money , powerful enough for coffee -gigs , and small enough for at home , great Clean tone too..and No !! , I do not know Am.Detached.

Location: Jet City | Crossbow, what sort of sound are you looking to get? It makes a big difference if you're doing blusey and more classic rock, or if you're wanting to do heavy metal Metallica kind of stuff. |

Location: Utah | We've got a Roland Cube 30, and for the money it is a pretty good little amp. Enough power for a mid sized room, and OK emulations of different type of amps for various classic tones. The effects are ok, like reverb and chorus.
I wouldn't call it a professional grade amp suitable for using in the studio, but for home and small gigs it is fine. A good value for the small $. |
