I ran across this in Craigslist tonight. I was hoping to get another electric, but having only a center-hole Balladeer 1771LX, Im really considering getting this. What are your thoughts?

That's about the going rate for the used ones from a friend or member here...

the Elite LX models are nice guitars and if you're interested in one just like it for $55O including shipping (as of his last for sale post on the guitar)... send Slydog(Al Segen) a pm or e-mail... he has one in as-new condition still for sale.

Regards,

Glenn

There you go. I would say $550 is a great deal. Given the choice I would always prefer to buy from someone I know here.

Wow. That's 2 6778LX-NEB's for sale right now at that price. I paid a couple hundred more a few months ago and still feel like I got a great deal.

2009 Road King.... fully dressed in Royal Blue..

I'm at the hospital with Char right now, She had a bad reaction to the H1N1 vaccine she got on Friday, is having every severe side effect listed, and she woke up this morning with a fever of 103+ incoherent and vomiting... they are doing a Lumbar puncture right now... we're still waiting on the labs to come back from the bloodwork, and it's a wait and see... she woke up screaming right after I started this thread..they've done another CT on her and the Dr. says the stroke area has expanded some and gotten a little worse...

Slydog came to bring us to the Hospital, and while we were on our way here, he got a call from his daughter Jolie, about his other daughter Crystal who was admitted to Holmes last night with complications from the Swine Flu and NOT the vaccine... and is also receiving extensive treatment.

They are doing the LP on Char to rule out encephalits which is apparently occurring at a rate of 1/400 or so in people receiving the vaccine.

what makes it worse is her deteriorating spinal fusion which is going to make it rougher on both her, and the Dr.s doing the procedure, and making it more risky.

will keep you all posted...

Prayers Please! for both my wife, and Al's daughter...especially hoping it's not Encephalitis in Char's case, and that the LP goes smoothly.

Regards,

Glenn

Prayers on the way Glenn. Remember, the pendulum swings, and after all the troubles you have had when it swings back you'll be on the "good side" of things for a long time.

Thanks all!

unfortunately LP was unsuccessful, and they were not able to penetrate the fusion, and it was horrible for Charlotte to say the least, and very frustrating and disconcerting for the medical team as well.

They cannot go in anywhere else except that location according to the Dr. and he says they will not attempt it again. So she is being admitted and treated for encephalitis with IV antibiotics since they cannot conclusively rule it out now.

She will be inpatient at least through next Monday. We are still waiting on most of the labs to come back on the other bloodwork and to get a white count on her.

I'm now concerned about the stroke's progression.

Though her speech is a lot better than it was this morning, she's still having confusion and mild aphasia and dis-association again, while she's had all of these symptoms to some degree on and off since the stroke June 2008, they have not been this bad for many months. She's still feverish, and on the monitors, and we're waiting on a room to be prepped for admission.

I checked with Al and an update on Crystal and she's doing a little better and should be released in the next day or two barring any other complications.

He's going to run me over my cell-phone charger in a couple of hours as I've burned it down pretty hard today contacting all the family, and he's going to help keep an eye on the Apt and feed and water the cats for us while I stay here with Charlotte at least for the next day or two.

Thanks for the support, well wishes and prayers all!
(again and still) They are most definitely Appreciated, Loved, and Respected.

Keep them coming if it's in your hearts.

Thanks for being here.

Glenn
