Location: GATLINBURG TENNESSEE :) | That sure is a crappy impression of snakeskin. If it truly looked like snakeskin it would probably sell better. If I was able to get that guitar I would get out my airbrush and give it a makeover. |

I mean, I don't think any USO's are snakeskin... Thunderbolts are just Tangents, which are just Celebrity's, Right?

I mean, I don't think any USO's are snakeskin... Thunderbolts are just Tangents, which are just Celebrity's, Right? Thunderbolts were made in New Hartford, Ct. USA from 1987-1989. The last 50 of the run in 1989 were hand painted graphics applied by an Artist on his yacht in several "skin" motifs: Snake, Dragon, and Lizard. Three colors were used: Blue, Red, and Black of which I have one below. In reality, from my research, this is one of perhaps 8-10 original TS-01-5 guitars of which I have seen three (two of which were in terrible condition.) Mine was sent to the mothership, reconditioned and plays fantastic! Anyone who thinks this is not a serious guitar (the Thunderbolt) has either never played one or owned one. Granted, its not the traditional O headstock but w/op-24 Electronics, it kicks butt! Here are two pictures! BTW, the top is hand-signed by the artist and is a challenge to find.
