Word on the street is that StevenT28's/gh1's/Grif's black 1537 is the best sounding one there is in existence! Wow, people must be starting to move their collections to raise funds for the OFC guitar!

The thing abuot the black ones is it's hit an miss. You never really know what is udner the black paint. Could be cedar? Could be unidirectional graphite? You never know what they found in the bin that day. I don't know about the sunburst claim Dave. As amazingly awesome as my former black 1537 sounded, the Tobacco sunburst one I had sounded even better (tho by a small small margin). and the 1547 that GH1 pried from my hands sounded better than both of them.

Then again, you've probably got "My 1537 is on the Honor Roll" stickers on the back of your cars; I have to pick mine up from detention because it keeps making yours cry.
