Isn't this a mid depth bowl Legend? It was only made for about a year in the early 80's and replaced the GC Artist? |

| The only midbowl Legend I know of is the 1777. I think the 1667 is a deep bowl, similar to the 1767. From the 'larger picture' ebay photo the bowl looks identical to my 1767.. |

Location: SoCal | I stand corrected. The only mention I could find was in a June 1983 catalog which listed the 1667 as a deep bowl Legend cutaway..... |

| The seller has a good rep and has sold quite a few guitars, perhaps not many Ovations. I'm curious if this model ever had the label in the bowl identifying it as a 1667 Legend. The seller thinks it's a Balladeer. I've never seen a cutaway Custom Balladeer with neck binding. |

Location: SoCal | It's a Legend. The gold tuners, neck binding and model number all identify it as such. Don't worry what the seller says. If you're really worried about it, ask for a pic of the label..... |

| Not worried just curious. I think this is probably a very nice guitar. One of the photos show the blue label is still there, so that has the model number, I just wonder why he calls it a Balladeer...I sent him an email, haven't heard back.. |

| 58 bids, the highest was $328, Reserve Not Met. Some guy had one of those auto-bid services that bid 21 times in the last 5 minutes... |
