Might be easier (and less) to get an older 1687-7. Course probably not a wide neck and the older one would not have the ebony neck. Not sure whether they could do the bridge carving on ebony,

Since you are from Greece, this Custom Legend is owned by one of our members (Samova)

A custom guitar is about suiting your needs and wants. There are a number of contradicting forces involved in an ideal guitar. For best sound you should have the bridge near the widest point of the guitar (i.e. the neck meets the body around the 12th fret) and no cutaway. For reaching higher frets, you want a cutaway and a 14 fret to the body design).

As I already have a guitar with a cutaway and 14 fretter, my custom adamas (if I had the money) would be a 12 fret, non cutaway, with textured top, 1 3/4 inch nut, deep hand-laid bowl and decorate to suit.

True, having the 08C does make lusting a little bit difficult. If I can afford another lash out one day, I would look for something to complement it, and have something that could stay in a different tuning to save the constant reaching for the dummy plug.

If you get a custom adamas or ovation guitar you better be sure its a keeper because you generally lose your shorts in resale. I've got a custom Ovation I paid $2500. for a few years ago that I probably couldn't get $1000. for it today.

Yeah, but it's such a beautiful guitar that you'll never sell it. And if you did, I'd be trying to set up a payment plan.....

Strange, Jeff Whitehead, several years ago, had built, just about the exact guitar you're looking for (he'll never sell it) except that it's a cutaway and a mid depth bowl. I've played it and it's spectacular.....

Believe it or not, not everyone prefers manly necks. :) I actually have to use miniature sized fingerpicks.

I can think of quite a few experiments I'd have built if I won the lottery.

I'd start with a red reverse textured top, no holes, solid epi's... artist bowl cutaway. Strictly for playing plugged in live.
Then...
