Michelle aka guitarzannie emailed me asking what she could do to help after my daughter's experience with the Haiti earthquake. My first response didn't seem quite right. I knew she wanted a Patriot, so we struck a deal and the proceeds will go to Friends of the Orphans. That seemed to make both of us feel good, so the sale continues.
Both have some small finish cracks. The CB has them right below the bridge.

dcrunner has more pictures in the member's section. $225 plus shipping, same as I paid for it.
SSB, cutaway. If you want more info, let me know.
1973 Country Artist. The finish cracks are next to the neck and there's a ding in the upper treble bout and part of an ear missing. $300 plus shipping, a bit less than I paid for it. You all know it's nylon string 14 fret. I have pics of the flaws, but this one is prettier.

4 or 5 monthly installments should get you into safe shipping weather.

I was just reminded that I didn't mention cases. The Country Artist has the original brown case with just a few scuffs. It's in better shape than the guitar.
The CB has an unidentified case that might have come with a Celebrity. It's in good shape, but if you would prefer an original SSB case with a repaired crack across the top neck part, I could do that, too.

Okay... What kind of bracing does the CB have?
About what year?

And this is the same guitar and case that we are talking about... Correct?

Thanks, Art. Yes that's the one. See, everyone takes better pictures than me. If you look at my sig line (I know it's too long), you'll see it's a 92. I don't know what bracing it had. I don't remember ever looking inside.
This is also the one I offered to swap for your Ultra GS.
I was thinking it was an OP24 preamp, but that photo looks like it might have just been an Op or whatever the successor was to the FET.

Custom Balladeer is sold. The buyer will probably remain a secret because it sounds like he's got some "splainin" to do.

And thank you for selling the Ultra GS instead of trading it to me. I've been in the dog house for years, but I can at least see the door now. Of course, if AJ would prefer an identical one in black, we might work a one for one.

I was looking at the pretty burst on that Balladeer...

I have to keep reminding myself that I have sixteen guitars!
Some of which I rarely play.

That GAS stuff is bad!

The burst got me too. I missed another good one.

I have to keep reminding myself that I use to have money before I was married.

Now you guys made me realize that I don't have a burst anymore. I thought I bought it for the shallow bowl, but it was probably the burst. Ovation does great bursts.
Even though I'm giving the money away, SWMBO seems happier that I'm selling them than she was mad when I bought them. Based on that experience, I recommend you go ahead and buy what you want and then sell something later and you'll end up with a happier spouse. (Actually, she's still thrilled that our daughter made it out of Haiti alive and I wouldn't recommend that experience to anyone.)

As I mentioned in another thread, the Country Artist will come with a Unique Voices dvd for $300 plus shipping in the OHSC. Proceeds will go to Friends of the Orphans in memory of my daughter's friend who died in the earthquake in Haiti.
