If I had not spend in the 2009 Collectors last month, this one would be mine.

The Blue Tamo Ash viper he had for sale was also a great deal.

His name sounds familiar and he has certainly sold a lot of ovations through ebay.

That is cheap for a UTE, if it's a good one. I still think the best one I've played is Beggin's.

I've always thought of it as one of the ugliest guitars Kaman ever made.

But then I bought one, only for collecting reasons. Since then I love even her looks. Sound had changed my mind. It's magic.

Well, everybody knows - then I bought the twelve string as well.

Best regards,
Kurt

I felt the same way about the looks kurt. I like the 1680's colors and finish better but I got the ute because it fit my budget. (well sort of). Funny thing is everytime I pull it out someplace for the first time I get all sorts of oohs and ahhs about how beautiful the thing is.
I can't imagine how the 12er sounds. Lucky you Kurt!

I missed the Good Ole Daze before evilBay decided that they should protect people's privacy.
Then the listing would say who won it!

I was considering this one, but I know I'd just sell it again like the last 3 UTE's.
