Joined: February 2004 Posts: 1634 Location: Warren,Pa. | My 1115 came to me with a number of structural issues, most of which have been fixed. There's still that little thing that looks like a crack at the headstock joint, and the bridge was shaved down to about half it's original thickness. I was going to use Silk&Steels for the rest of it's life, but my guitar repair guy said Lights should be fine. With these issues the lights have been OK. If your guitar doesn't have any issues, I'd say you're fine with lights. John <>{

Joined: April 2008 Posts: 498 | I have never had an issue with an Ovation or Adamas 12 tuned to pitch or stored that way.. except on the 85 collectors that Slydog now has.. it was sent up to mother for a neck reset and refurb, came back very nice, sold it to Al, and it has since spent most of it's life in the case in a humidity controlled room... anyway... it apparently now needs another neck reset... it has been stored tuned as I or he have never had an issue with any other O or A 12 being stored tuned to pitch, and we have both owned several, but we have no idea why the neck is back out of whack.. does anyone know the policy on repair work warranty? if there is such a thing? the neck is straight and the relief is right, but it's again way high at the 12th.. Thanks, Glenn
