I thought the title would draw out some of you rabble-rousers, and you know who you are...

Saturday night at an award dinner for the Kidstuf Volunteers I took part in the musical portion of a very nice formal desert and presentation. We changed the lyrics to Bon Jovi's "Wanted Dead or Alive".

There were lights, smoke, aripping electric solo and a 12 string lead in with 80's attitude.

"I'm a volunteer, with a bible in my hand... wanted, dead or alive..."

Great effect, lotsa fun. Any similar stories?

I have a routine that I do about once a year, Hank Sinatra. I have a tux and a red ruffled shirt, that I wear open with a huge medallion necklace. I wear a false mustache, rings, and slick back my hair. I do Sinatra karaoke and change the words for whatever function. I've performed it several times at church shows, twice at Christmas parties for companies (for moola no less), and at an anniversary party.

How about dat!

Hey Cap'n, Can I borrow your outfit for next years OFC Tour? I know a few Sinatra tunes on the ukulele and I have this little idea starting to brew in my head ...

Dave

PS, Woody you're a whole lot sicker than you look, my man.

We did pass on the lycra pants and big hair thing if it helps any Dave.

Had an audience full of bic lighters and lit cell phones though!

Hopefully I'll be there and wearing it myself. I actually dreamed the other night that I was at the OFC tour. I woke up and didn't get back to sleep. Not joking!

Captian, You should do a Rat Pack trio. Al can dress up as Dean, that suave (mauve) drunk chain smoker. And Brad would be a perfect Sammy. He's pretty short and he already knows how to Tap Dance. Dave

PS - If you'd rather just do a duet, Templeman would make a dandy Nancy.

Ya know...as our band was playing Saturday night for a private party, I was thinking how lucky I was to be getting paid 100.00 an hour to stand up and do something I would do (and have done) for free...and after reading this thread, I now realize it's not because I'm that good...it's that people will pay you to do most anything!

So how will we recognize you at the NWOFC jam without the lycra and big hair?
