I have used phosphorous bronze strings on my wood top guitars for years. I put these on a composite top guitar and didn't really like it. Do those of you with Adamas guitars find one type of string works better with these guitars. Thanks, Steve

The EXP16's are coated (constructed much like Elixir Nanowebs) and sound pretty good, maybe *a little* less bright. There's a set on Noah's FD-14 that are God-only-knows how old and still sound OK, so I can speak for their longevity. These BTW are what come stock on Ovations (the ones with the pretty colored ball ends). Let's assume you are talking about you CA Model X. They ship with Nanowebs, which I don't care for. What model strings are we talking about here? How old were they (in the package) when you put them on? Did you feel they were bright, dull, or mid-heavy? Did they make the guitar sound like cardboard or plastic? We'll get to the bottom of this one way or another :p :D :p :D
