At some point, I read talk of creating OFC merchandise. Was that serious? If so, I’d buy. Would be somewhat ironic since you cannot order any wearables from Ovation.

Also, I know this has been asked before but could not find the post. What does it take to lose “Junior” status on your profile? I’d consider myself more of a “Senior Wallflower”.

Thanks

OFC Merchandise is in the works. I'm locating vendors with quality product and good price, and will be putting up the pages shortly.

The "junior" status goes away automatically after I believe 20 posts.

Welcome to member status, you don't want senior status, your hair turns white and falls out and your teeth turn black and fall out. Then you play endless versions of Wildwood Flower as that's the only melody left in your bald brain. (The sun cooks it once the hair insulation is gone!)

Hmmmm.......must be a regional thing. I figured the vicissitudes of Age & Gravity would culminate in perseverance of House of The Rising Sun......or irrelevant, pedantic drivel (or is that 'drool'?)

I didn't know that there was a guitar part to "House of the Rising Sun", I just croak out the words as a recital of my visit to N'Oleans 50 years ago when I was young and those things were accepted, or was it Nuevo Laredo or, maybe Tiajuana. My memories are fogged by years of resistance to temptaion

Miles;

Touching back on the long-ago discussed "OFC Merchandise" :

Would you happen to know where Ovation got those pens that they put in all of the Tour "goodie bags"?

These things are GREAT!!
I'm not usually a fan of the promotional "giveaway" pens, and being in the tradeshow industry, my office gets constantly innundated with leftover freebie pens emblazoned with companies I've never heard of and generic drug names I can't pronounce that usually end up in my "circular filing cabinet" immediately after their first/last use initialing a work order.

But THESE things are really good! They're comfortable, they WORK!, they write smoothly, and yet they don't appear to be all that expensive (made in Indonesia). If you're considering doing any kind of OFC writing implement, these get my vote!

And I'll welcome dvonb to member status that I missed back in April, after he asked, senile dementia is no excuse.
