For those of you who went on the tour-we finally got a look at the new Flame Elite T.
So far, There's a Red, A Black with Purple Flame,
and Someone mentioned that they were going to be doing a Blue Flame.
The guitar looked stunning and sounded pretty good too!If you didn't get to see it check out Alpep's photo gallery-he's got the Red one on there somewhere.
Anyone else get to play it??
I seem to remember from the board that this is a limited run thing. I wonder how long they are going to be doing this.
If you got to play it.. what are your thoughts?
Wonder if you can get it done in blue or if you need to wait forsome kind of official announcement.
any thoughts would be welcome.

I have played it but I am not experienced enough to judge it.
I liked it a lot and the flames would make me buy it!
It would be really cool to have a blue flame I think. ;)

It seemed like since the room was so large and a lot of people were ther that it was alittle hard to judge the sound except for close-up.But It really did'nt bad. In fact, it sounded alot better than i thought it would. I have a friend that says he bought one of the Black modelsThe standard one without falmes) he said when playing acoustic he would pop out the Preamp and it actually added some loudness and also evened out the tone. When plugging in, he thought it sounded
Fantastic. What can we say?? It's An Ovation :D

Hi Steve:
The first week of March, Rick H. and the "O" sales team brought in (I was told 11) Guitar Center salesmen who qualified for a trip to the "Mother Ship" by selling the most in a GC region...
My local GC sales guy "Keith A." represented RI.
Keith told me Rick played a little Q&A with the GC boys and the winner got to pick out a "special" guitar. (I forgot to say that all 11 qualified for a new LX)
Keith won the Q&A quiz and picked out the Elite T flame... He says that he played both LX and Elite T and the T (In his mind) was the winner.
Now I know he was blown away by the looks...

He also said the "O" team treated the GC group better than any other MFG they had a chance to visit. I know in my GC store (RI) they have a big Ovation fan. He's the one who told me they have some inventory to move... But plan to do the LX big. The ET, I played did surprize.

Here's the purple flame ELite T. Not that great of a shot, but look close and you can see the flames. WHen you see one of these up close, you can reach right through the paint job!

I'd like to research the possibility of custom ordering a shallow bowl model painted with just the red - no flames.

Cliff: I like the idea of having the Elite T the same color as your PT Cruiser!
