Having no luck finding a means to carry a few acoustic pedals when necessary, I found this nifty aluminum tool case currently on sale from Harbor Freight for a paltry $23. Inside measurements are a shade larger than 17" x 12". Inside depth is just under 6". Using some old 1/4" ply laying around the tool shed, I built a two level pedal board to fit inside and hid the power supply between levels. A piece of foam about half the size of the case (comes with the case) secures the lower level pedals from pulling away from their velcro fastenings during transport. It works perfectly for a small number of pedals for less than $30.

I've got one on my pedalboard, and they work GREAT with acoustics (like anything else - as long as you don't overdo it).

Check out the videos and look for SRV playing the blues on acoustics! I also use this pedal board with a Viper EA68 which sounds great with a little dirt!

Don't try to carry it on an airplane. They'll never believe you.

I've done it, many times, with a similar care for my electric. The extra security comes rushing to the X-ray machine EVERY time. No joke.

What are you using for a power supply?

Also a sugestion: turn the power stirp on it's side so you can plug other stuff into it if needed.

Power supply is a standard Boss with daisy wheel leads. I have two more unused leads that I can use for two more pedals on top, so I am not concerned about adding to the strip. However, if I did need to plug in another transformer, the power supply cord easily slips out the back. The power strip has a short lead and plugs into another higher grade power strip with surge protection that I also use for the amp. This is not a high tech unit, but it works for what it is. Incidently, it also fits neatly under the Trace which I place in a tilt back stand.
