I bought this a couple of years ago because the inlaid wood around the edges matched my custom National M2, and I wanted a Mandolin. I let it sit a few weeks before I took it to someone for a set up along with an Adamas II I picked up. (wow those were the days, buying instead of selling!). After another week or so I went to pick them up, I found out there was a problem with the mando... If you look at the pictures you will notice the metal piece on the back of the peghead. When you take that off it's been hollowed out to accommodate the tuners. So there isn't enough wood there to support the tension of actually putting strings on it. I'm guessing some industrious person could fill the void and replace the tuners. Unfortunately, I am not that person... Are you?? PM me if you're interested. Just pay actual shipping to your location and I'll send it off. I hope someone here can make a playable instrument out of this! BTW, the white things you see holding the pick guard on are guitar bridge pins!

I will not be able to touch the project for a few months so I will yield to the well mustached gentleman from the State of California. I may need to snap some photos and put a few unfinished items up for the BFLG to ponder. | ||
