After playing the original GC Deluxe Balladeer, then going to the GC Artist, then to an A braced Legend, then to Adamii, back to wood topped Elites (his prototype then an 87C), now when he's seen playing a full body Ovation acoustic, it's an early 80's black Custom Legend. In his show, he plays a Viper, but that CL pops up all the time. Basically, an A braced round hole, deep body Ovation..... | ||

These things are great guitars. I love 'em." He then strummed a few quick chords, flipped it upright, and signed it. It was a memorable moment. ![]() | ||

This thread reminded me of it so looked on youtube and all the tracks are there. The alblum is from 1964 - isn't modern technology just brilliant. | ||

I wanted GC's signature, sure, but not so badly as to put it on the OFC-I. Joined: January 2006 Posts: 5881 Location: Colorado Rocky Mountains | He did a show at Denver's Boettcher Concert Hall with the Colorado Symphony of which I am also affiliated. My people worked it out with his people, so I had a guitar awaiting backstage. He was very cordial and accommodating. | ||
