Howie gave me one, had a seam rip in it at the zipper... sewed it back up and good as new. nice lightweight case/bag does have nice rigid panels inside. fits my balladeer like a glove. think he has one or 2 more at the shop.

God Bless,

Glenn

Trboy, I don't think it is a 1537. Doesn't look like wood knobs and binding does not look like wood. Maybe it is an elite legend, model # 1736 or another black elite. cool bag.

it was a case offered with an applause. I am looking into getting these gig bags since I think they are really cool.

Gig bag review...

Medium weight nylon fabric over a rigid foam core with a plush lining. Mine fits my 6778 like a glove and has freed up a really ratty old case that I am trying to find something suitably ratty to put in it so I can return this abomination to it's previous owner. The Ovation Logo on the gig bag is nicely done. I like mine, a really nice alternative to the unstructured padded fabric and the weight of a molded plastic vault.

Is this case on par with other ultralight cases I've seen in the stores? This is part of a line of ultra light cases from the TKL website, except the std one fits regular guitars and of course has no Ovation logo. They seem like pretty good protection AND they seem like they would lighten the load considerably.
