Yeah... I did a quick CL search, and it is amazing how many people have no photos, crappy photos, and stock photos.

If you want a grand... Take some decent pics.

Any of you played one of these? Just curious on the sound.

Never really appealed to me. A good wood top is better IMHO.

I got to play the one Robbie had quite a bit: Loved the guitar, hated the "v" neck. When he sold his, the neck is what kept me from getting it. (Trust me, I agonized over that one.) I think this one probably has that same style neck, so even though I like the color, it's definitely not calling out my name.

Karen: Ar eyou talking about the W598? My 00C has the V neck, and I love it.

my first ovation/adamas was one of these. smooth as whipped butter to play, incredibly good gigging guitar plugged in. acoustically it is well-balanced just not full enough volume-wise IMO. i prefer the textured tops.

I'm pretty sure Robbie's burgundy one was a W597; it sounded fabulous plugged in (I named her "Angel," because she sounded like one), but there was that soft "v" feel to her neck that dug into my thumb when I wrapped it around the neck to grab bass notes. Just not a good match for small hands.
