Can't say if it's a good deal, but it isn't too common. eBay item 160364723842 .

This is a killer lil' Ovation model! Check HERE for an A/B with Jim's ol' parlor and my '97C.

Oh, and that burst...

Yep, "Jim's old Parlor" is now at my house, and going to Iffy next summer. (It's a long story folks.) And it is absolutely the prettiest guitar I have ever seen. But what's even better is it sounds good. Warm sweet tone, and so COMFORTABLE!

Don't get me wrong TJ, I love the guitar, but if you remember, Iffy let me buy it out from under him. Karen is coming out next June for the Black Hills gathering, and it is the perfect guitar for her with that bad shoulder. So I'm keeping it 'til Karen goes home, and if Iffy can make it to the gathering, I promised he could buy it for the same price I paid and take it home when he leaves. (If not, I'll ship it to him.) That way I get to play with it for a year, Karen doesn't have to bring her own guitar when she comes out, and Iffy still gets the guitar he wanted. Are you confused yet? :D That's one of the things I love about this place. Besides all the wonderful people I've gotten to know, it is so much fun watching the parade of the revolving guitars!

Sold for $600, not to me. I guess I'll still have an Ovation parlor on my want list for awhile.

A parlor and U681 are on still on my list. You've got a great collection going there. What guitar in your collection jumps into your hand most often?

I deliberately vary it. For the last couple months it was the #47RI, but it also seems to be the Patriot.
