But I'm afraid that if she and I ever got together it would be a deadly combination for the used guitar market. Somewhat related subject: I asked my neighbor what he was giving his wife for xmas. He said he is "giving" her his 4 year old Harley Davidson so he can buy a new one for himself. I just hope to hell she was the one who suggested it. That makes the Swifter floor cleaner I bought for my wife seem not too bad. Dave

The 1658 is a great sounding guitar. They are just so hard to come across, but they are out there. John

There was a VERY relevant cartoon in the Sunday paper of a dorky looking guy helping the elves assemble the Christmas toys at the North pole with the caption "Who is that guy? He's the guy who believed his wife when she said not to buy her something for Christmas, he is in the protective idiot program." Are you at Miramar? I had lot's of friends there when I lived in Poway. Bailey

Other than that, those are beautiful guitars.

I am a little partial to the Marines, my uncle retired as a Lt. Colonel after duty at Guadalcanal and my cousin was killed at Chosin as a Marine Corporal at 21 years old. I took the easy way out and joined the Army. Bailey
