Location: Upper Left USA | It's been a little while since I obtained the 81 1615 from Willard and after my attmpts to make it something it wasn't with different strings and a variety of tunings it is now tuned standard with lights and has a very, very nice action right up to the 12th fret which is 3-7 frets more than some of us need. It has become my most played guitar because it fit in so nicely with our church band.
I have finally found the right neck tension, string gage and saddle shims to make it work.
It does have signs of being around - one of which is a cracked rosette. Is there a specific glue or adhesive to use to secure it to the top and eliminate any buzzing? |

I planned to use it for the same but the guy that kinda directs the music didn't like the sound in the mix. I plan on getting another one at some point just to use when he isn't there. Ususally, we have a bass, keyboard, drums and myself on a 6-string but once and a while, the bass and drums are absent and it would be nice to have the 12-string as fill.

Location: Upper Left USA | I'm in-process of ordering an inlaid Truss Rod Cover from Nichol's Guitar and I wanted to confirm something.
Is the TRC on the slothead Pacemaker the same TRC template that's on most of the other O's?
I should probably mark a template and send it. |

Location: SoCal | When was your Pacemaker built? The size of the truss rod covers changed in about 1970. One size (smaller) before, and a larger size after. I'm pretty certain that the larger size remained constant over the years and models. |

Location: the BIG Metropolis of TR | I think all the slothead TRC (Mid '70's to Late '80's Pacemakers,Folklores,Classics,& Country Artist)were the same size!(larger that the solid pegheads) I know the GEN-U-WINE Glen Campbell signature TRCs are smaller than the ones listed above!(I don't know if that applies to the GC 12 string's signature TRC?)

The two bottom holes are in the same location but the point of the GEN-U-WINE GC TRC just barely covers the original top hole of the slothead's (Country Artist,Folklore,etc) You'll have to drill a new hole slightly under the original's......But you do what it takes to install a GEN-U-WINE Glen Campbell signature truss rod cover!!! :D :D :D

Location: SoCal | I believe that there were two GC truss rod covers. The first ones were for the GC Deluxe Balladeer. The later and larger ones were built for the GC Artist. These are the same size as the truss rod covers on everything built after 1970. I think. |
