I wonder how long it will be till Gibson sues the artist for infringement of proprietary shapes?

Gibson has ebay cops watching for keyword spamming, so they must know about this terrible practice by now. I can imagine poor Henry wringing his hands... :D

Those guitars aren't that unusual. Here is what I would call an unusual guitar:

cliff,

Apparently Dave Mason helped start the company and has his own signature guitar which he played at his induction into the Rock'n Roll Hall of Fame.

Also includes Dale Jensen, the majority owner of the Arizona Diamondbacks, who contributed funding.

RKS founder Ravi K. Sawhney said he wasn't thinking about the long odds when he decided to get into the guitar business--he was simply excited about the chance to break the mold.

A prominent product designer, Sawhney's RKS Design in Thousand Oaks, Calif., has created the look of photo printers for Hewlett-Packard Co., cell phones for Nokia and vacuum cleaners for Sears.

Guess you could order BlueTooth and a hose/dusting brush...

Wow, what a team

Yeah, I've seen those guitars. They are quite different but ah, I don't remember anyone asking for something different.
They're a big yawn.

"Industrial Designers" sometimes have tendency of just making something over-the-top for the sake of calling attention to themselves as opposed to making something functionally and/or aesthetically pleasing . . .

I had to work on a project once with Karim Rashid who was a TOTAL pompous ass. Project couldn't end soon enough for me.

I'll bet it would be easier to fetch the pick out of the clam shell than my Legend.
