Many of us had the privilege of nosing around that room at the old digs with all of those vintage/rare/prototype instuments. And I am sure that many, like myself, wondered where all of those KILLER guitars and such went when the-company-that-shall-not-be-named skipped town.

For those who don't know what I mean, here it is (or was):

Now for the fun part!

Guess what I found when John B. let me snoop around the new shop a couple of weeks back?

That's Charlies original slothead that the reissue was based on.

That is not #47. Looks like an Adamas 1 with Adamas II epaulets.

I was so impressed with the old managers' generosity in allowing us visitors to bring down and play those rare guitars at our discretion. They were so customer friendly. I hope those rare guitars are packed up in those boxes for possible rebuilding of the display room.

A shame I can't make the grand opening. Maybe one day I'll get there for a factory tour. Those guitars deserve to be on display again.

Nice to see that they didn't disappear into funder somewhere. That #47 was not Charlie's favorite guitar, not even sure if it was his. His was #35 which was in his house. But y'all believe what you want. I've said it several times but won't say it again
