Now what are you doin' pokin around the inside of your guitar? Is it a 1/4" jack? I would almost think that since the xlr and 1/4 out are on the same "board" that's fed by the other wire harness, this may be a 1/4 out that you could plug into an amp sans the xlr output. Just a guess though.

That's the extra hole. Used for the alternate IN position. Often doesn't work properly.

Nope, it's a 1/8" jack.

There are 2 versions of the Op-Pro, one with XLR/jack outputs and one jack only. The XLR/Jack version uses the multi-pin socket on the preamp can, the jack only uses the 1/8th" phone-socket. At least that the case with my 1773-LX.

Paul's got it. If you have an OP-Pro with 1/4" only, you'll find the lead from that jack plugged into the 1/8" jack on the OP.
