It is 72° in my room...

It is about 100° outside...

I was gonna go hang-out in front of my building...

Do you think that is enough of a Temperature Change to crack my guitar?

"Rule-of-thumb"- If you are shocked by the change, so will your axe. Probably won't kill either of you, but may leave a mark!

I already did...
As you probably know, it is still 94° in downtown Portland...
And the sun has gone down.

I was going down to hang-out front with the 1121 in my hand when I suddenly decided...
"This is Not a Good Idea."

That is when i decided to create that post.

Similar conundrum-
Going camping for the weekend, where it is expected to be about 101. Decided which noisemaker to take, but it, pretty much, has to ride in the tow-behind, where the AC is NOT operating, en route 2-1/2 hours. I suppose it could share the backseat with the canines, but they slobber a lot, much less whine when anything is different in their "personal space". Brats.
I think it will be OK, though. There aren't any humidity changes, and the critter is in a OHSC to modify the differential temperature gradient.

"Going camping for the weekend, where it is expected to be about 101." = This does not compute.

OK, it's only 99. Where's my parka?!
The guitar is fine, and the AC is functioning. The point is gettin'-outta-town a few days. Not retired, yet. Nice touch, Bobbo- "everything is perspective"
