I'm after a replacement bridge for an Ovation CC24.
Anyone got any idea where to get one?
Tried Fender, and they're not particularly forthcoming. |

Location: kansas | I'd recommend a TusQ compensated saddle for your CC24.
Check the dimensions of the saddle(Thickness Length Height) and choose the one that best matches from this site:

I love the way ovation make them longer than everyone else so generic over the counter ones don't fit |

Location: kansas | The Tusq saddles may be a touch shorter than for this Ovation, but I used one in an Applause that all I did was add a small length of a wooden 3/16" dowel on each end of the saddle and it worked great. The orignal saddle was plastic so using a Tusq saddle added more tone and volume to the guitar. Plus, I replaced the nut with a Tusq nut, too...
It's likely that your CC24 uses a nut and saddle that are made of plastic, too, and would sound better with a bone/Tusq/micarta/corian saddle and nut. |

Location: Boise, Idaho | Is the CC24 a laminated top? If so, are you thinking that a new saddle would make the laminated top sound better? |

Location: Suffolk | The reason I need a new saddle is that I was making a wooden one for a friend, but before I got the chance to use it as a template for the wooden one, my girlfriend threw it away thinking it was junk.
So now I have to replace my friends saddle |
