I was thinking Hieronymus Bosch or H.R.Giger before I read your post but Tim Burton kinda nails it.

Either way it's slightly disturbing to look at - like there's souls of musicians trapped in that machine or something..lol

I Agree....

There are several of these Animusic "shorts" that feature different, unusual, and extremely creative CGI animated "instruments"

Our local PBS station has run this one and the others every so often on their Beg-A-Thon fund drives.

...Bet they'd be a hoot to watch stoned....But I digress ;)
