Location: SW Washington | My current poverty has pretty much squelched my GAS, but now it is being replaced by a potentially hazardous malady... GMS (G)ear (M)odification (S)yndrome. Since aquisition is no longer possible, every piece of equipment I own is being scrutinized with the prospect of 'enhancements' in mind. NOTHING in my studio is safe! I need an income so aquisition can protect all my equipment! I am like Tim Allen... looking at everything to see if I can 'hot rod' it! This could get ugly!    |

Go for it, DeeVee! |

Location: Pacific Northwest Inland Empire | Hmmm......perhaps I need to reassess.
How 'bout "hyperactivity"?
And, I believe all your positions are defensible, but then again, "We're All Bozos On The Same Bus", e.g., building instruments (mandocello) I have no idea how to play. Uh-huh. |

Location: SW Washington | MW, is that an Adamas neck and bridge going onto a sanded down iDea? Isn't that a little like putting a Maserati drive train in a Pinto?
seesquare...that reminds me... YEARS ago I saw David Grisman in Portland and Mike Marshall was picking up a mandocello to play. David pointed at it and said, "A free t-shirt for anyone who can tell me the names of these instruments..." Before anyone could answer he pointed at his mandolin and said, "Here's a hint. This one's Herman!" |

And just as importantly, what happened to the rest of the Adamas?! |
