Your string wouldn't match the original 1985 strings that are on it. We wouldn't want anything that wasn't original.

Not stored well. Somewhere in Texas, got too hot, bubbled the case, dried out the fretboard, may have bellied the top a bit.
Still, a helluva deal, and perhaps worth a trip to The Wizards at Mother's.

It IS, however, an original string. Just not for that particular guitar.
