OK, so I don't watch TV to much but will occasionally try to catch the Guitar Center:In Sessions shows on DirectTV 101.

Yesterday was an extended marathon of back to back episodes...Buddy Guy, Kenny Wayne Shepherd, Cure, CAKE, Peter Frampton and then just as I'm getting ready to shut off the tube on comes Rodrigo y Gabriela. Never heard of them before, but figured what the heck. OMG can these two tear it up!! Pure acoustic heaven, no vocals necessary.

Makes me realize I've been livin under a rock or something :)

DirectTV... have no idea what you're talking about Tim. In our community, we can't even put a sattilite dish on our rocks.

Right on, Phil. I'm sure you know their first CD but the newer one (11:11) rocks. I agree: pure acoustic heaven!

Rod&Gab are amazing!! Grew up playing heavy metal apparently but now working the magic on nylon strings. They are/were based here in Irl, saw them live, absolutely stunning. Make you either (a) hang up your guitar for good or (b) get it out and start practising like mad.
