Hello all,

I have a strange mix of instruments that I am thinking about putting on the block. It may just be spring fever, but let's test the waters shall we?

First up, I bought this one expecting to keep it. But the purist in me is thriving on the spring weather. It's in great condition: aka no finish cracks! But the original owner had an after-market pick-up installed. (Sigh!) The case has been through it, but is still sound. The rest of the guitar is in wonderful condition. $775 shipped (insured of course) to the lower 48 states or I may consider a trade. (See more about trades later in this post.)

I'll add more pics to the gallery as well.

Next is my 2005 Collectors. Not a thing wrong with it except me! My verdict is still out on the contour bowl: I love the sound, but it kind of digs into my rib when I play while standing. One week I love it, the next I'm ready to let it go. Try to catch me on a weak week (wink wink).

No issues, and it has a brand new case bought a month ago. $950 shipped or again, I might consider a trade. More epics in the gallery.

Finally, I have an Applause mando in good shape on its way. Frankly, I bought this one just to flip it! No pics yet, but it's the natural finish and includes a hardshell case. No cracks as far as I can tell in the pictures sent by the original owner. If there is any interest in this one, I will update the description as soon as I inspect it. If someone commits, and I find a problem of any kind, I will, of course, inform them, and they will not be obligated to purchase. $275 shipped. Trades possible here too.

Regarding trades: I tend to have a taste for limiteds and Collectors Editions. Also, in the interest of being honest, I may trade for something just to use it to get something nicer, or at least something more suited to my personal taste. I love the OFC; they're one, big, happy, moderately-dysfunctional family! So,if someone wants to be absolutely certain that their guitar stays in the club, trading with me may not be as secure as you like. Then again, if you have something I really like, someday someone will have to pry it from my cold, dead fingers!

Please ask any questions. I'm out of town for four days this weekend, but will check online if I can.

I sure hope to hear from some of you.

Hey Patch... Al(slydog) has been trying to get ahold of you... you interested in a fully restored 82 1617 legend? just back from the factory, new top/bowl(new bracing mmmmmm) it's a natural -1 and is gorgeous..

best of both worlds tho not a collectors.. old neck and new bowl/top. stacked tone/volume. and original brown ohsc.

the old 5-piece neck is stunning.. and has been reset(of course), re-fretted, and re-planed..

he/we are interested in the 2005...

there might be a custom color(pewter)2000 model 1867 with ebony bridge and op24+c it's a custom order with case and candy.. if that one would suit you better,

I'll let him pop in here to further discuss if you're interested in working something out.

like I said he's tried to reach you but the e-mails aren't getting through.

They're both very excellent guitars.

Thanks,

Glenn

here's a (crappy) picture of the 1617 before the refurb/restoration.. it's the one on the far right..

the new top is bone-white like your 2005 now.. and the finish is still so fresh your head will swim from the fumes... j/k almost.

the black shallow bowl midi balladeer is for sale as well, with the midi controller.. (working condition of guitar midi unknown) 1/4 output works.. and midi controller/box does test and post properly.. just haven't had the time or inclination to set it up..

one of the oddities from the history book..

Glenn

Sorry for the delay everyone. The OFC server kept giving me a "server reset" error, so I could not get the pictures up until now.

Thanks Glenn for stepping up while I was out of town. The midi-balladeer is going to the bay if no one here is interested. We found it and the box there to begin with.....Patch,one way or another,I'm interested in the 05 collectors. I need to lighten ship here some so there may be more to post soon. The 82 has almost $700 worth of repairs and looks stunning. Al slydog9us@yahoo.com
