just to let you know: I sent back my Josh White RI - maybe you remember the thread where I posted the pics of this totally screwed nut - and the neck needed a reset as well - this was number 19. Just in case the RI you'll get is number 19.

Dave, I didn't think you liked Ovations anymore? Not true! My criteria is primarily unplugged acoustic sound. I think a few Ovations compete very nicely in that areana. The Josh White is one of them.

Well, we can do a pretty darn good side by side comparison can't we?
Actually I've been very impressed with the Fishman Eclipse Blend electronics and looking at the X bracing of the JW, I am almost sure it will easily fit. I'd like to throw the eclipse in this JW and then I think it would be the cat's ass of Ovation wide necks. Might be tough to keep the Frenchies from walking home with it after le Tour.

Location: Munich, Germany | Besides from the quality issues of my first Josh White RI - I'll get the new one tomorrow - it was absolutely beautiful and sounded brilliant. Much better than an original Josh White I once played. Whoever will rob Dave's at the tour - he won't make a mistake!
