No collars Mike, sorry. I do have about a dozen semi broken L/Rs from the Vipers but no collars.

I must have gotten up before you this morning cuz I got to grab this BFL special.

In preparation for Father's day I slept in...

Crim - Post a picture of one of the Viper collars. I have a smattering of stuff. Maybe Ovation actually used something on more than one model???

I believe it's the Bottom Feeders Luthiers Guild of which I can only aspire to be a member.

I believe it was Chris "seesquare" that coined the phrase Bottom Feeders League of Gentleman as we tastefully, yet skillfully, all vie for the cool scattered parts and projects on Fleabay.

Most of which have ended up on Mike "Crimson Lakes" pool table. Even when God sent a flood to his basement he persists in his efforts!

The Bottom Feeders Luthiery Guild belongs mostly to those of us that gather the bent and broken with the intent to heal and repair.

Seesquare is our Chapter President...

Kind words, Brother Michael. However, I regard myself more as an activist, than administrator. I attempt to spur, foment, and exacerbate our collective enthusiasm for Ovation instrument restoration/refurbishment. Some original ideas & construction are emerging, as well.
I am constructing a cedar-top, double-fan-brace, deep-bowl, trapeze tailpiece, floating bridge, Matrix-neck critter, as the current project.
Pandora, the refinished 1617-now-natural, awaits return of the electronics from our itinerant & dislocated Brother Jason.
I believe the Resident Craftsman honors go to MWoody, though. His work is superlative, beyond hyperbole. I'm not sure he will accept admission, but Temp's recent resonator conversion certainly qualifies him for membership.
Dive in, Gentlemen- there's plenty of work & opportunity out there!
