$650 for a Viper III in excellent condition (not verified) is a good price.

Sweet, 928. The cream finish is one I've never seen in person.

928S sounds suspiciously like a Porsche guy.

Thanks all. Already in Fedex's hands. Should arrive Friday. Will post update.
Suspicion confirmed on the 928. The 8 cyl purrs; ~30 mpg on hiway; great performance; extremely reliable; given it's contours and qualities, it could just be an Adamas on wheels (now how can I ever part with it...).
OK, I'm admittedly hypo and sleep deprived.

I had a friend with the license Dial 911, but after the State gave it to him, they made him give it up. 928s never got the respect they deserved. (Sounds familiar, doesn't it?) Glad yours is reliable, cuz they're notoriously expensive to maintain.

Trader Jim ,

Thank you. That was a great price.Unfortunately , I missed it. Fortunately I have purchased one almost exactly like the one you referenced :
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&ih=011&sspagename=STR...
When the seller said it was almost new he wasn't exaggerating.

I'll try and post some pictures soon and give a comparative sound report between it and some other guitars.

Thank you again.

Regards,

Tom
