Per my e-mail yesterday My 1986 collectors 12 string has a limited order of 231. Still waiting on a idea of how much this mint guitar is worth. It was a Xmas gift from my ex.

That's not true. There were 392 of these guitars made not 231. As far as value, Well the last one sold for $600.00 on ebay. So that's a pretty good indication what the market is for them. Sometimes higher sometimes lower. There is no standard to who much it's worth. The low number of guitars made really has nothing to do with value. If they are no desired by anyone to have it. Whether it's a guitar or another item.

You definetly don't have something worth a small fortune if that's what you're hoping for.

You know more about the production of this series of guitars. Right now I have 4 others ranging from a 1972 balledeer and a custom elites . I don't know if I'am ready to trade it or sell it.

You definitely don't have something worth a small fortune if that's what you're hoping for.
Well, that depends on the buyer...true there are only 392 of the 12's added onto the 1858 6 strings made that year...it's the lowest of all the 12 string collector totals (85 was the other with 715 total 12's)...
In MINT condition w/coa and all hang tags, its worth whatever the buyer is willing to pay: and there and how many Mint ones still around? I happen to have one that is and it looks like it came out of the factory yesterday!
The one that sold for $600 was a fluke (and a bargain for the buyer) and I doubt you'd ever see a mint condition one again for anywhere near that price!
