Location: maryland | since i have only played acoustics for the last couple years i have decided to sell the few electrics i have , one of which is a ovation sunburst viper w/ the maple neck ser #12242 i think it is a mid to late 70's i am the second owner so not sure of the year. but pickguard does have viper cut in it.it is in vgc w/only minor nicks on it, comes w/a hsc but it is not the original ovation case. the pickguard broke at the 1/4" jack & has a patch piece on it there, does'nt effect its playability or sound only its look in a minor way. a guitar shop told me they could make a new pickguard for it,but i never got around to it. was thinking $350 as is ,plus shipping.let me know who's interested & i'll post some pictures soon as i can. thanks folks |

Location: Boise, Idaho | I'm here with SWMBO figuratively looking over my shoulder, ready to pounce with the "you said the blue one was the last one for a couple years." I don't remember saying that, but it's very possible I was drunk with GAS for the OFC at the time. |

Location: GATLINBURG TENNESSEE :) | OK... I just saw this. Has anyone checked it out yet? Pictures? I MAY be interested, but I don't know about the pick guard issue. I'm STILL trying to decide if I am going to sell one of my acoustics or not to raise some cash. I am still in love with all three of the steel stringers. I MAY part with the classical and pick up another one later on. |
