I MUST SELL my Ovation Balladeer Special ASAP. Hence the great price of $250 plus shipping. I believe it to be a 2001 model. Serial number 562296. Made in Hartford, Conn. Not a collector's piece, but a nice guitar for very little $$$$! I'm the second owner. It's got the deep bowl, OP24+ electronics. Sounds really good unplugged--especially for an O, but like all U.S.A Ovations--GREAT plugged up. It could use a fresh setup. The guitar has been played, but not abused.
THE ONLY ISSUES: It's got a couple of surface cracks (typical of Ovation's) on the top that were professionally repaired when the previous owner had it...you have to look closely to see it. Also, a little chip out of one corner on the headstock--that's it other than some small nicks. I hope you can see the repair in the pics.
This is a ridiculously cheap price, but I really need the cash fast for a speeding ticket...C'mon, help me out guys.

Location: Augusta, GA | Stephen, sending PM. I'm not really a fingerstyle/slap type guy...but I do occasionally play w/out the pick, and it performs well. The action is pretty low right now, but you'll probably want to have it setup anyway...and you can get the action wherever you want. |
