Joined: June 2002 Posts: 6202 Location: Phoenix AZ | I went 2 years ago and loved it. It's partially very serious, but also kind of tongue in cheek vaudville cabaret kind of thing. There's an OPEN MIKE night. Bet your ass Cliff if I was there we'd be on stage. Anyway I hope some of you get to go. It's really fun. And IF you don't own a ukulele already, I guarentee after going to this event you will by one (or many). It's in a different theater this year (10th and 1st ave.) so let me know how it is. I would definatly go myself, but I've got to be in the city on 5/2 for an awards reception for my son. and then AGAIN on 5/11 for graduation. and then AGAIN on 5/17 for the OFC Tour. So no can do. Pluck a little 'plink-a-link-a-link' for me. Dave | ||

Joined: June 2002 Posts: 6202 Location: Phoenix AZ | Cliff, I was not clear. 5/2 and 5/11 I'm flying into NYC. 5/17 flying into Hartford. You can get out of Jury Duty real easy. I've done this routine 3-4 times. On the questionaire where they ask "Occupation", I always fill it in "Script Writer for CSI". They excuse me every time. Dave | ||
