I think the sticker that reads 449546 means built in 1992 but that is not enough info for me. Can anyone help me out? I would really aperciate it! Also can anyone tell me what it sold for new and what the going rate for a used one in Excellent condition is (I mean show room floor condition with a hard shell case(orange shag interior))

I looked at the list, and don't see a model 1716 (that's what that is btw). I do see a 1761, but according to that list, they didn't start making those until 1994. Does the label say anything else, like "Balladeer" or "Legend"?? Doublecheck the model number... as for what one goes for used, perhaps someone here has a guitar bluebook at their disposal, otherwise you can find a used guitar guide at Barnes and Knoble.

A lot of well known people have felt the same including Paul Simon. If I get rich, I'll own a Custom Legend 12 string right after I cash my lottery ticket, or maybe that Al Di Meola beauty on the back of this month's Guitar Player magazine. Bailey
