Hey everyone. One wise choice Ovation made on my Adamas back in 1981 was the choice to use Schaller tuning keys. After years of alot of playing, they are still as good as new. I guess I don't think about the keys that often. But that is a good thing. We sure would think about them if our nice Ovations went out or tune alot. I say again: Ode to Schaller tuning keys!!!

I think all but the entry-level US guitars still use Schaller.

I thought they used Ovation keys. I checked out the local music shop today and checked out this shallow bowl celebrity. What's up with the new necks??? They're like V shaped and not round and comfy like they used to be. A lot thicker now. Really disappointed. I have a Celebrity deep bowl from the mid 90s and that puppy's got an awesome thin neck.
