Location: Frozen Tundra | How do youz guyz electify your Adamas/Ovation????
currently I use either my Mackie powered PA/EV or just a Electrovoice SMA250 powered 15 and horn w/mini mixer built in.
Saw a nice review of the Ashdown that sounded cool though.
I'm all ears...

I like the trace amps.
DavidE is an ultrasound fan but I have to admit they did little for me.
The genz benz is fine.

Location: Lake Hiawatha, New Jersey | I had a small Trace Acoustic amp (35 watt), and it sounded great, but I wasn't thrilled with the reverb. Even on the lowest setting it sounded like I was in a huge tunnel. My acountant forced me to sell the amp a couple years back.
I still use Trace Acoustic EQ pedal, which I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE! and then go into my Yorkville PA. Ballsy, punchy sound.

Location: Las Cruces, NM | Used to be able to buy deep fat fried walleyes down at the harbor in Conneaut,OH on lake Erie. The fishing fleet would fry up their catch for the rest of us and we could enjoy the food of gods, fried freshwater perch and walleyes. |

| I tried quite a few acoustic amps and chose the Fender Acoustasonic Pro, which unfortunately, is no longer available. Other amps I had considered were the Marshall AS100D (also no longer available), the California Blonde and Strawberry amps, Trace Elliot, and Fender Acoustasonic Junior and SFX. I've had it for a year and a half and still consider it the best sounding acoustic amp I have heard. It was expensive for an acoustic amp, around $1200. I play an Adamas guitar through it. ;) |

Location: SE Michigan | I have a Marshall AS50R that I use with my legend and I really like it. One of the best things about this amp is when you stop playing it is QUIET...NO HUMMING OR BUZZING. I tried the fender Acoustasonic amps and they buzzed and hummed like a swarm of bees. I really like the chorus feature and the seperate XLR voice channel of the AS50R. I have an amp stand that holds it up on an angle and its plenty loud, I use it with a drummer and bass player no problem. A good buy for around $380. |

Location: central Indiana | I usually go directly to the p a. One trick I have learned is to run through a high quality passive DI into the mic input. It smoothes out the quack and gives a much fuller sound. Great for recording too. Scott |
